Instructions for the installation of
unlimited mobile internet from
Orange for 6,- EUR a month
(ONLY TESTED IN THE NETHERLANDS)
Orange World activation
- Buy a Prepaid Orange card
- Put more than 6,- EUR on it
- Login on your Orange account on the website
- Activate Orange World
Orange WAP proxy settings for Windows Mobile 5.0
- Go to 'Start > Settings > Connections > Connections'
- Go to the tab 'Advanced' and click 'Select Networks'
- Click 'New' at 'Programs that automatically connect to the Internet should connect using:'
- Enter the name of your connection, i.e. 'Orange World'
- Go to the tab 'Modem'
- Click on 'New'
- Enter a name for the connection, i.e. WAP
- Select the modem: Cellular Line (GPRS)
- Enter at 'Access point name': wap
- Username, password and domain can remain empty
- Atj 'Advanced' everything should be set at 'server-assigned'
- Press 'Finish' and go to the 'Proxy Settings'
- Enable both checkboxes and enter for the proxy server:
10.250.255.188 - Click on 'Advanced' and make sure that the port of the HTTP proxy is set at '5080'.
- Press a few times on 'ok' and start 'Internet Explorer'
- That's it!
